THE CENTRE
The Breathe Mindfulness Centre was founded with the intentions to:

  • Enhance emotional, mental and physical wellness through the integration of conventional psychological principles and treatment with contemplative philosophy and practices such as mindful living, mindfulness meditation, mindful movement and self-compassion training.
  • Empower individuals to take a proactive, preventive stance concerning their overall health and wellness.
  • Foster more connected, meaningful and compassionate relationships one has with themselves, with others and the world we live in.

Upcoming Events at Breathe Mindfulness Centre

  • WORKPLACE/ORGANIZATIONAL PROGRAMS We offer customized seminars, workshops and retreats of varied lengths and themes to workplace and organizations seeking to learn about mindfulness or self-compassion and who arewanting to enhance job and life satisfaction along with the well-being of their employees/members/participants. MORE

  • RETREATS Half-day and full-day silent retreats are periodically offered to facilitate the deepening of one’s practice in mindfulness and/or self-compassion. MORE

  • MINDFULNESS-BASED COGNITIVE THERAPY (MBCT) A 9 week program for coping with anxiety, depression and emotional distress. MORE

  • MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION An 8 week program in developing a caring relationship with yourself by learning how to be with difficult emotions and moments in your life with kindness, care and understanding. MORE

  • INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS – 2 Hour Workshop A great way to get a good sense of what mindfulness has to offer is to experience it. MORE

  • INTRODUCTION TO MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION  - 2 Hour Workshop This two hour workshop offers an opportunity to learn about and experience the practice of self-compassion and its benefit on well-being, especially when one is suffering. MORE

  • MINDFULNESS MEDITATION DROP-IN GROUP A weekly invitation to step out of the pace of your day, to sit, take a breath and practice mindfulness together. MORE

  • INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING/SESSIONS Private individual MBCT and MSC sessions are available as is conventional psychological counselling for those facing a variety of personal and life challenges. MORE
