DESCRIPTION:A quiet morning to reset\, restore\, and return to yourself.\n\nHeld in Wolfville\, Nova Scotia\nFacilitated by: Jacqueline Milner\, Registered Psychologist/Advanced Certified Mindfulness and MBCT Teacher\, Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor \nThis semi-silent morning retreat offers a space to step out of the pace of daily life and into a few hours of quiet\, guided restoration. \nThrough gentle meditation\, mindful movement\, breathwork\, and deep rest\, you will be supported in settling the nervous system and reconnecting with a sense of steadiness and ease. \nGently guided by the grounding steadiness of earth\, the openness of breath\, and the restorative rhythm of water\, the morning unfolds with simplicity and space. \nThere is minimal talking and no expectation to share. \nThis is not about going deeper.\nIt is about softening\, slowing down\, and giving your system a chance to reset. \nNo experience is needed. All practices are gentle and accessible. \nDesigned for those who:\n\nFeel stretched\, tired\, or mentally full\nAre curious about retreat experiences but not ready for a full weekend\nPrefer a shorter\, contained format\nAre seeking quiet\, without pressure to share\n\nThe Flow of the Morning\nThe morning unfolds gently\, with spaciousness between practices and no pressure to engage or share. \nArrival\nYou are welcomed into a quiet\, settled space with tea available. There is minimal talking\, and you are invited to arrive in your own way—no need to interact. \nGround\nWe begin with a short\, guided meditation to support grounding and orientation—an opportunity to settle into the body and the present moment. \nBreathe and Move\nGentle\, trauma-informed movement and simple breath practices invite ease and openness. All movement is slow\, accessible\, and guided with choice. \nNourishment Pause\nA light break with tea and simple nourishment\, with an invitation to slow down and savour. \nWander and Notice\nA gentle\, unstructured stroll along the dykes — an invitation to wander\, sense\, and be held by the land and water around you. \nRest\nAn extended\, ocean-inspired Yoga Nidra practice offers deep rest—supporting the body and mind in releasing effort and settling more fully. \nClosing\nWe gather briefly to close the morning. There is no expectation to share—only a gentle invitation for quiet reflection\, with the option to speak if it feels right. We close with a supported transition back into the day. \nTo support your morning:\nYou are invited to wear comfortable clothing and dress for the weather\, as we will spend some time outdoors. \nFeel free to bring a water bottle and yoga mat if you wish\, although mats and meditation cushions will be provided. \nA light nourishment break will be offered\, and you are welcome to bring anything else that would support your comfort. \nFee:  $110 (HST included).\nCompleted registrations indicate understanding and acceptance of our Payment\, Cancellation and Refund Policy. \nCLICK HERE for our policies \nRegistration\nEnrolment is limited to 12 participants to support a quiet and held experience.
