This welcoming two-hour workshop offers an introduction to Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), an evidence-based approach that helps us respond to life’s challenges with greater kindness, resilience, and emotional well-being. You’ll learn the three core components of self-compassion, experience several guided practices, and discover how cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself can help you navigate stress, self-criticism, and difficult emotions with greater ease.
Research has shown that practicing self-compassion can reduce stress, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and burnout while increasing resilience, emotional well-being, healthy habits, and more satisfying relationships. In workplace settings, self-compassion has also been associated with greater engagement, creativity, emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and job satisfaction.
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or simply curious about self-compassion, this workshop offers a gentle and supportive introduction. No prior mindfulness or meditation experience is necessary.
