Growing up today comes with real and complex challenges. Many children and teens struggle with anxiety, school stress, social pressures, emotional overwhelm, or changes at home, and they shouldn’t have to navigate these experiences alone.
At Breathe Mindfulness Centre, we offer compassionate, evidence-based counselling for children and teens in Wolfville and across Nova Scotia. Our work is grounded in clinical expertise, mindfulness, and deep respect for each young person’s unique temperament, experiences, and strengths.
Whether your child or teen is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, school pressures, friendship difficulties, or major life transitions, we provide a calm, supportive space where they can feel understood, build practical coping skills, and grow in confidence and resilience.
In-person sessions are available in Wolfville, with secure virtual counselling offered province-wide across Nova Scotia.
We work with children (age 5+) and teens who may be experiencing:
Each child and teen is met with care, curiosity, and respect. Counselling is always tailored to developmental level, personality, and individual needs.

At Breathe Mindfulness Centre, we believe that meaningful support for children and teens considers the whole person — their thoughts, emotions, body, relationships, and lived experience. Our evidence-based counselling goes beyond “just talking.” Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each child or teen’s unique needs, strengths, and personality, with a focus on building practical skills they can carry into everyday life.
We meet children and teens where they are, using age-appropriate, creative, and results-driven approaches to help them feel heard, understood, and empowered. We believe young people thrive when therapy feels safe, collaborative, and empowering, not clinical or intimidating.
