A 4-week program to explore how mindfulness practice can increase resilience and reduce the effects of stress on the body and mind.
In this program, participants will meet as a group for 1.5 hours once a week for 4 weeks. The weekly classes are experiential and include mindfulness meditation, gentle mindful movement, an overview of core principles and attitudes of mindfulness, a review of the benefits of mindfulness on your physical and mental health, and small and large group discussions. Home practice will be offered and encouraged, and resources provided to support your well-being after the program has ended.
Cultivate a sense of well-being and confidence
This program is a great resource for those who are new to mindfulness practice or are seeking to strengthen their practice. It is also for anyone who is time and/or resource-limited from participating in the more in-depth mindfulness-based programs. Meditation experience is not required, all are welcome!
Please note, mindfulness is an innate capacity that exists in all of us and is free from any religion or faith.
