Date/Time: October 4, 2025, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
Location: Breathe Mindfulness Centre 24 Harbourview DR. Unit 107, Wolfville NS
Facilitated by: Meghan Weber, Photographer
Meghan Weber is a seasoned professional photographer with over 20 years of experience, known for her artful eye, intuitive approach and passion for vintage cameras. She is the creator of Developing Mindfulness with Film Photography, a phone free, analog experience that blends meditation, slow looking, and tactile magic of film.
Drawing on her personal mindfulness practice, Meghan weaves techniques from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) into the way she teaches analog photography. Helping participants tune in, slow down, and connect with their creative presence. Her workshops are not just about making images, but about making space: for breath, for reflection, and for seeing the world—and yourself—with greater clarity and joy.
By focusing on analog photography, we give our nervous systems a break from our phones, the constant scrolling and notifications. Connecting with nature and our surroundings in a profoundly deeper way.
As photographer Dorothea Lange once said,
“Photography is the physical manifestation of mindfulness.”
This is the heart of Meghan’s work: where creativity meets stillness, and each frame becomes a powerful moment of awareness.
